Viimeisenä
‘’pääsiäisloman’’ päivänä päätimme vierailla Hong Kongin toisessa huvipuistossa
eli Ocean Parkissa. Yllätyksenä ei varmaankaan tule, että täällä on kaksi isoa
puistoa…toinen niistä eli vierailumme kohde sijaitsee huomattavan lähellä
keskustaa asukastiheyteen nähden. Hong Kong Island Linen ydinkeskustapysäkki
eli Central on vain yhden pysäkin päästä Admiralty asemalta, josta on suora 15
minuutin bussiyhteys puiston porteille. Toinen puistoista on maailman pienin
mikkihiirilä eli Hong Kong Disneyland. Sille on omistettu jopa oma metrolinja
ja tällaista rakennetaan myös Ocean Parkille.
Puisto on yhdistelmä
eläintarhaa, akvaariota ja härveleitä. Se on sijoitettu aika suuren nyppylän
kahdelle puolelle ja näkymät puistosta ovat huikeat verrattuna moniin
samantyyppisiin keskuksiin. Saimme kulumaan täällä kävelyn sekä aktiviteettien
merkeissä helposti koko päivän.
Last day before
reality check
Before it was
time to concetrate on school stuff for a while we visited HK Ocean park which
one of the two big amusement parks in the city. The other one is the world’s
smallest Disneyland. This day didn’t cost us a fortune since the ticket price
to get to Ocean Park is 280 HKD.
The park is a
combination of a zoo, an aquarium and an amusement park. There is a lot to
explore and a walkathon can’t be avoided when going here either. The location
for Ocean Park is quite amazing since it’s relatively close to downtown area,
has spectacular views and is separated by a mountain. It is maybe
better to tell more about the trip to Ocean Park through pictures than just
describing the things so this will be more of a photopost.

It feels impossible to cover all the things to do in Hong Kong but I'm progressing. Something I haven't at least gotten too much of is the skyline. What a great sight at night!
