CUHK semester coming to an end

Eventful weekend

Last weekend I had the chance to participate in two awesome events. The other one was our IASP farewell dinner and the other one was a lunch with the Finnish consulate. On Friday the event was held at Intercontinental in East Tsim Sha Tsui and Saturday we got to enjoy the views from an apartment complex called Queens garden located on old peak road.

CUHK farewell party

Picking up soybeans

The Farewell party had some competitions for us to join and I participated in the chopsticks battle. The task was to get 20 soybeans from a bowl to another as quickly as possible. I managed to make it to the 2nd round but didn’t make it to the top3. Later that night we gathered at a club venue to celebrate with the whole international crew. I spotted the Finnish restaurant F.I.N.D.S on the way to the venue as well.

The lunch with the Finnish consulate was great since I hadn’t eaten many of the finnish dishes provided for us there in a long time. We also had some nice talks about Hong Kong and Finland with a big group of Finns from different universities in the area.

Finns in HK

It seems like the weather is getting slowly better after some weeks of rain in HK as well. The only thing I have left for my courses are the final exams…this semester has been quite fast.
